Due to the global economic recession, it hit strongly Cambodia’s real estate such as construction, and land price.

On February 08, the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction recently formed a new Cambodia Construction’s Association in an attempt to exchange experience and skills with construction in ASEAN countries.

Chhean Dara, construction site manager of LDL International Co. was quoted by the Post as saying that in total, 819 building firms- 166 foreign-owned – would be invited to join the new association.

“It’s very good for our country – constructors can learn … from other ASEAN countries,” added he.
